One of my more memorable flights. On a trip to California, I used connecting flights to save $160 total. After a rocky flight over the Rockies from LAX-DEN, we found out the plane coming from YYZ-DEN had a mechanical issue and a new one had to come in. On top of that Denver was going through a heat wave, so with the high altitude, they had to ask some people to stay in Denver overnight. The flight was due to arrive in Toronto sometime after 11pm, but with all the delays we didn't land until after 1am EST. YYZ closes around 1 or 2am so we were one of the last flights to get in. We left our hotel around 9am PST. As well, YYZ generally uses its east-west runways, but they used one of the north-south ones. Who knows why. Needless to say I will never connect to save such a small amount of money again, especially with United which I hear doesn't have a great reputation for organization...
Anyway, the plane is super cute though :)

I take one of these back and forth from SFO to PSP and LAX to PSP at least twice a month. Last flight was yesterday , next one is Sunday. Not such a bad plane, especially with an upgrade!

Good idea!! Maybe I can make albums for these photos so they're organized. I unfortunately don't have photos of all of them and most are taken from the gate so they're not the best.

It would be nice if you share photos of the corresponding planes (real ones) :-).

Indeed! I just wish I had taken an interest in planes earlier in my life. I have been fortunate enough to travel quite a lot but most of it was during my early adult years. I am in started noting the planes I flew on in 2006. In many cases I even have photos of the planes I flew on so that makes it even more cool when I can find the corresponding model.

A very interesting story. Collecting models of planes you travelled on makes u recall memories of trips more often.
