1:200 Ansett B727-277 in 1970's Delivery Colors Model made by Jet-X. This is my first attempt a photographing some of my 1:200 models. In Australia all the B727's were known as Whispering T Jets. They may have been many things but quiet was never one of them.

Haha...I always thought that was funny how they use to call these and other aircraft "Whisper Jets". They have a very different definition of whispering then I do. Can you imagine their "whisper" in a movie theater? Also funny how they later added hush kits. Again, different definition of "hush" but at least it did hush them slightly :)

 

I think the 727 alone, is responsible for my dads partial deafness. He spent too many years working around them. Even I was exposed at a young age to them and recall how loud they were.
