During my 25 year career in civil aviation, I was lucky enough to have had a lot to do with Soviet airliners. I was mainly concerned with load control, and despatch with them. They belonged to Aeroflot, Balkan, Tarom, and Interflug, mainly Tu134, Tu154 Il76, Il62. Back in 1993, I worked for Aeroflot in London. The Tu 154 has always been one of my favourites, is the Olympic version of that model very common? My collection of Soviet models are 1/100, or 1/72.
