Ya plastic wings really take away from the quality of the die cast body. Hoping to go to a hobby store this week and maybe add to my collection :)

Herpa diecast are wonderful (very heavy).

I am not a big fan of plastic wings ... I like Phoenix for 1/400.

I have two Herpas which are diecast and very nice but I'll watch out for the plastic ones.

You are right about dragon models. Herpa also has some plastic models which are not that good either.

I collect mostly 1:400 too and have Gemini, Phoenix, dragon, Herpa and Star Jets. All good quality except Dragon has plastic wings :(

No doubts about Inflight200 and Aviation 200 if u collect 1:200 scale but i collect mostly 1:400 :-). I also have models from Jet-X and Model Power.
