Good day,

I have something very vital to disclose to you, but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site.Could you please get back to me on (kayimivedo79801@gmail.com) for the full details.

Dear Robert

I received 5/5 yr msg "DearDaveDonna".

Once again, may I tell you that if you want to correspund with anybody by mails, or in our case, to join a Collectors site like ours, the way you use is not the adapted one !!

I see that you need to share your memories with somebody "listening" to you ("reading you" should be more appropriate !!), but the philosophy of ModelAirplaneCollectors is primarily to speak of our collections, sharing our photos and collectors experiences, exchange models, buy or trade some others.

Your past experiences are very interesting, but without photos to illustrate your plane travels or maintenance, or without your models pics, I don't know how you could use these letters in our environment.

Once again, let me advise you to join one of several of our special groups and exchange with their members, and meet some others geographically not far from your location, and to complete your profile with your bio datas.

You sure are a good writer, and your experience in airplane maintenance, accurately illustrated, could be attractive on our historical forum.

The limitation of soft knowledge is really a problem in the kind of sites like ours !! Try to find a local help !!

Once again, thank you joining us, and remember that the personal advices I give to you are only from my point of view, not mandatorily this of the site creators.

Waiting to see you as an active member!!!

Regards

JF QUILLIEN

It seems you have interesting relations, whose phoyographs either on HO railways or USAF planes should be of highest interest for our members. Perhaps joining us could be possible for them ?

Dear Robert

If you worked in the USAF by the past, it could be interesting to link your photos of the real planes to the equivalent models.

You do know that this site is intended to permit COLLECTORS exchange of views, photographs, aso, not specifically only txts. If you write long txts, for instance like Ahmed Misbah or myself on the Forum, particularly in technological or historical vulgarisation, it is necessary to maintain our members attention and interest by illustrating our posts.

Have a look on the forum and make your advice on the way it is presented.

Regards

Jeff

No problem for opening Hi! Andy.doc. I read it ENTIRELY. It's an interesting testimony. As you surely know, my interest goes to militaries and space conquest primarily, then airliners for a smaller part. I have some other interest centers such as StarTrek, The Lord of The Rings (Tolkien's Universe generally speaking), Napoleonian soldiers and some cars, but very few. I insist suggesting you to join some specialized group like for instance: Military vehicles, or create your own group of cars collector, inside our site.

And the most, SHARE YOUR COLLECTIONS by the photographic / video way. It's the living heart of MAC (previously Scale Model Collectors). Yes we write, on the forum, some "specialized" articles regarding models/History linkings, or vulgarisation shorts. You should use too this media but, please, illustrate !!

Kind regards

Jeff

Hello, Robert!!

You could use either your blog module or the "Buy, Sell & Trade" upper menu, just under the header.

There's no miraculous solution to your ancient models inquiries, except the web !!. I can't help for that as I'm no specialist of Airliners models, but rather military ones.

Anyway, you could join any dedicated group of the site and make relation with their specialized members. This could help more in your case.

I repeat that ALL YOUR COLLECTIONS, including cars are welcome here, despite of the "Brand" !!!

Kind regards

Jeff

I'm back!! There are multiple ways to communicate here, included the chat room ("Main room") just at the right bottom of the page. But we can leave a comment too, and I use this media to tell you that I'm very impressed by your activities and the importance of your collection. Don't hesitate to post photographs or videos here, to share your treasures with us all ! I'm coming back on the page presentation pb. I'm not sure of that butn when you sign up and create your page, I think the possibility of personalizing the presentation txt exists. It's there you can copy your bio. Let me know if Matt gives you the soluce !

Kind regards

Jeff

Robert, This site function like Facebook, each time someone comment on your page, you get a Email notification,  just to inform you have a message. You don't have to reply using the email that was sent to you. You can communicate on the website to another member by the internal email feature which is on the top of the page, send a message left top corner  or by writing a comment and chatting to a member in the chat module on the lower left corner of the page.
