Here is the June lineup for Hobby Master releases. A new signed P-51, and even more exciting a 1:48 scale P-47. We get a lot of calls for 1:48 scale models since Franklin Mint dropped the Armour line, so it's nice for us every time Hobby Master ads a new 1:48 scale, and Gabreski's P-47 is a perfect model for the new P-47 mold.

For the airliner collectors there are three new models. A Northwest Airlink F-27, Eastern DC-4 and Easter L-1049. Interestingly I just finished reading Ace of Aces: The Life of Captain Eddie Rickenbacker by H. Paul Jeffers. I had read books about Captain Eddie years ago, but I was fascinated by his time at Eastern Airlines and amazed that he built such a large airline without any government subsidies. It's a great story from beginning to end. I only remember flying on Eastern DC-8s and 727s as a kid, but I sure would have liked to have flown in the Connie.
