Dear Matt!

Could you imagine the possibility of a slideshow ON THE PERSONAL PAGE HEADER BANNER, pointing to any adapted album (like my Album 38 for instance), with adaptable frequency (up to any reasonable delay)?

Many thanks for your brainstorming !

Friendly yours

Dear Matt!

Ahmed found me the simplest soluce !!! Animated gif, though a certain quality loss for the pics! But the effect is there !

Another limitation is the maxsize of the header: 1Mb. I can compile a 7-9 Header pics animated gif but without transitions or other effects. It's not really the problem, because I can now provide thematic animated headers with a good sliding frequency!!

So: no need for code cooking now!!

Please, apologize for the bothering I gave to you !!

Kind regards

Thank you, Matt and Ahmed !!

This is only a little will, not so important!!

I will try Ahmed's idea that is a multicoated gif image, which will give an animated one. The frequency will be a problem, but I'll try.

Second problem: does the page header banner can be an animated gif?

Jeff u could try creating a gif image using any online tool with ur banner images. This could be a temp. solution until Matt implements the module u suggested.

Jeff, let me see what I can come up with on this one. It will probably require a good bit of code so may take a bit of time. Also, i doubt having 38 different photos set to rotate would work very well as it would cause your page to load very slowly. I do think having 5 or 6 would work well. If you can send me a link to 5 banners you would like to see rotate on your header I will work on this for you!
