Thanks Raphael. My mind's got some ideas of how I can set up my spare room with a glass cabinet. For the models I get. I have several already. Which I can put in the cabinets. But they're all 1/200. And the airport mat/terminal Im looking at from I think 'Gemini' are all 1/400.
Gday Raphael, Thanks for your request. Im all new at this, plus recently getting my first 4 die cast models. Ive always had the plastic ones like you can actually buy on the flights. But these die cast ones are far superior. =)
Thank you for the welcome message. As soon as I get some idea of what I want to do here, I will post some personal information. After all I didn't know this organization existed before this weekend. Looks great and right up my alley so am looking forward to being as active as possible. Thanks for the greeting.
I am going to get a couple of them, I want a nice desktop which is probably 1/100 with a stand. I have the 757 and 767 from one of the groups out of the Phillipines, I got the L-1011 I flew for ATA from them also and those are nice models, but I wanted something similar to the Gemini 1/200 and 1/400 for my Mom. She doesn't like big models in her house (wak) I liked that Gemini "Chrome" version of the 757, it's nice. I am guessing that when these are sold out they are pretty much impossible to find again. Thanks for the help,
Thanks for the welcome, I have been involved with model planes since my dad started me in 1963 with an Aurora Gotha. I was up to 800+ unbuilt kits all 1/48 when I realized I could not live long enough to build them all so I have been selling them off on EBay. I am a life long aviator and currently a Sim pilot instructor for AA in Dallas. I am looking for a high quality model of the MD-80 in AA markings, and liked the Gemini Jets version, but it appears to be almost impossible to find. If you have any suggestions of alternates, I have looked at a lot of them but nothing seems to really impress me so far. Thanks for the help, Larry
