My 1/72 scale BAADE 152 airliner. Loosely based on a design of a WW2 Junkers jet bomber, the real thing was an attempt by the East Germans to build a viable jet airliner back in the late 1950s. Three prototypes were built, although aircraft No 3 never flew. The first aircraft was lost in an early test flight. The second prototype incorporated design changes, following the loss of the first aircraft. However, due to pressure from the Soviets, the programme was terminated, and the aircraft scrapped, despite both prototypes having only made three flights. IMO a fascinating aircraft. My model is of the second prototype.
