Hey, my friends!


I posted this article last year, but I think its place is on this forum, so I'm posting it again as part of the Historical articles, combining a model and the event it is linked to.

 

I got an old Dragon Wings 1/72 F16-C model,  reference 50009.

 

It represents the N° 87-0241 of the 120th FS "Cougars", who participated to the first TMOTA (Tiger Meet Of The Americas), which took place at Buckley AFB, Colorado ANG from 8th to13th August 2001. It was hosted by the 140th Wing.

 

Here are some pics of the real F16-C, with pics of the diecast model.

 

I think the most visible difference is that the model's ejector seat is grey instead of orange/red on the real plane !!
