A selection of my latest custom Models and some of the best and faverates of mine.

Iv always loved Classic British Aircraft especially Fighters and Test Development Aircraft.
Ever since I saw the "Vampire and Venom" display pair (Vampire and Meteor) I always wanted models of these aircraft.

I did plan on having both Aircraft in the same livery but certain things happened and they ended up being totally different.

I may add matching markings one day but at the min im happy with them.

Here are some pics of the Sea Venom and her Sister Meteor NF.14:

Royal Navy Sea Venom FAW.21 WW221:

Royal Air Force Gloster Meteor NF.14 WM224:

Another amazing aircraft I absolutely love is the BAC TSR-2. (Britain's lost bomber)

Modern military aircraft have four dimensions: span, length, height and politics. TSR-2 simply got the first three right.

TSR.2 Stands for Tactical Strike and Reconnaissance at Mach 2.
I dont know why but I kept putting it off then finally at the Model Show back in April at RAF Cosford I was speaking to Chris and Woytek and ended up buying Her atlast and an English Electric Canberra B.8(Wich I havent finished yet).

Royal Air Force BAC TSR-2 XR219:

Well after millions being invested into the TSR-2 project in typical British Government style they then cancelled it then started looking for another replacement for the English Electric Lightning.

They considered the F-111 Aardvark but then opted for a joint European development witch lead to the Panavia Tornado.

On the upside all the Internal technology from the TSR.2 was developed further and put into the Tornado but the Tornado didn't have as many flight problems as the TSR.2.
In the end the Royal Air Force recieved two varients of the Tornado, the Air Superiority version (F.2 then upgraded to the F.3)(Wich was replaced by the Eurofighter Typhoon and retired in 2011 leaving 2 left flying for missle training and the Ground Attack version (GR.1 then upgraded to the GR.4) Wich the RAF are contracting BAE Systems to research the possibility of upgrading the GR.4 but sources say the GR.4 will be replaced by the F-35 Lightning II in 2020.

Here are my Models of the Tornado:

Well I thought I wouldn't ever see an F.3 fly again as I thought they had all been retired and scrapped but to my amazement I saw one do two touch and goes at RAF Coningsby on 01/06/2012!
All I need to do now is paint the Cockpit a lighter Grey as it didnt show up enough, paint the nose cone Dark Grey and design some decals for her.
Royal Air Force Panavia Tornado F.3 ZG757:

Here is the second kit that I made, Royal Aircraft Establishment Panavia Tornado GR.1P ZA326.

I have loaded her with 2 standard Panavia Tornado Drop Tanks, a RAPTOR "Reconnaissance Airborne Pod TORnado", a TIALD "Thermal Imaging Airborne Laser Designator" Pod and an MW-1 bomblet dispenser.

Here are the pics of her so far, all thats left to do is put the tail stripes on her:

Royal Aircraft Establishment Panavia Tornado GR.1P ZA326:

Next up is the Panavia GR.4A in the camouflage livery which was only carried on Tornado's until just after the upgrade had taken place from GR.1P to GR.4A.
I have loaded her with two Standard Under Wing Drop Tanks, a RAPTOR "Reconnaissance Airborne Pod TORnado", a TIALD "Thermal Imaging Airborne Laser Designator" Pod, two 2000Ibs Laser Guided Paveway III's and a BAE Systems Sky Shadow mounted on the centre of the fuselage between the two Laser Guided Bombs.

RAF Panavia Tornado GR.4A ZA412:

The next Tornado GR.4A is the standard livery of 41st Test and Evaluation Squadron Reserve based at RAF Coningsby in Lincoln.

She has been loaded with two Standard Under Wing Drop Tanks, a RAPTOR "Reconnaissance Airborne Pod TORnado", a TIALD "Thermal Imaging Airborne Laser Designator" Pod and two additional long range centre Drop Tanks.

RAF Panavia Tornado GR.4A EB-R ZA447:

And last but not least is the 90th anniversary Livery of 41st Squadron RAF Coningsby!

She's been loaded with two Standard Under Wing Drop Tanks, a RAPTOR "Reconnaissance Airborne Pod TORnado", a TIALD "Thermal Imaging Airborne Laser Designator" Pod, an additional long range Drop Tank mounted on the Centre of the fuselage, two BL755 Cluster Bombs and a BAE Systems Sky Shadow mounted on the centre of the fuselage.

She is the most detailed model I have ever made!

RAF Panavia Tornado GR.4A ZA600:
