The Telford SMW 2014 Cold War IPMS(UK) S.I.G. Display.

Last weekend(8th and 9th of November) saw the 2014 Scale Model World show at the Telford International Centre.
I managed to get really lucky all weekend with getting parked up straight away amd getting into the venue at 8am to set up ready for the show.
Because it was abit rushed with me only taking over the group a day or 2 before there wasnt much on display as I only have 9 built Cold War era models.
Which are, RSAF Strikemaster, USAF A-37B Dragonfly, RAF Lightning, Hunter, Jet Provost, Canberra, 2 Hawk T.1A's and Tornado.
But my friends Shane and Craig came to my rescue bringing lots of fantastic models including a Mig-31 Foxbound, SU-21 Flagon and a Victor K.2 bringing the total to 21!
On the Sunday my other mate and ex SIG Leader Gregg showed up bringing with him a number of models including a Mig-23, a captured Russian F-4 Phantom and an amazing looking TU-22 Blinder.
At 11am we had a mini service and 2 minutes silence.
The service was performed very well and I really enjoyed it.
It was perhaps the best Rememberance Sunday services I have ever been part of.
Its been a really good weekend.
It was nice to meet and chat to alot of members of various forums.
This was my first show as the Cold War SIG leader and it was a great success!
There were some amazing models on show and alot of bargains to be snapped up!
Our next show will be the Bolton show in January which I am really looking forward to.
I am currently working on atleast 5 new models for the Bolton and Huddersfield shows so there will be a few more models on display.
